‘I was about nine years old when I took my grandmother’s portrait in her backyard with my new camera. There were so many different emotions at that one moment . It was special, mysterious and exciting. And at the same time, the memory of the event is immediately false, because it only exists in my head and it changes every time I remember it.

Memories are like dreams: volatile, corrosive, and elusive.’
